Marx says about division of labour

But division of labour is a system of production which has grown up spontaneously and continues to grow behind the backs of the producers

Aber die Teilung der Arbeit ist ein naturwüchsiger Produktionsorganismus, dessen Fäden hinter dem Rücken der Warenproduzenten gewebt wurden und sich fortweben. (S. 121)

Pero la división del trabajo es un organismo de producción espontáneo cuyos hilos se tejieron y se siguen entretejiendo a espaldas de los productores de mercancías. (p. 117)

What is division of labour? Is it dividing diferent types of work between diferent persons (eg person A baking bread person B teaching philosophy)? Or dividing the same work between persons (eg person A making the bread dough and person B baking it)?

The text has literary quality.  In English, better organism of production (no system of production).
